Abstract
There is a crisis of the elite in Russia. Of course, not only the elite is in crisis, but the difficulties experienced by the population count for little. It is another matter when the problems affect the leadership. In fact, it is a little unfair to talk only about a "Russian" crisis. That is not so. The crisis is worldwide. Although in our country, as might be expected, everything has its own "national traits," what is happening is merely part of a more global process.
