Investigative Measures on the Internet

Abstract

The recent tragic events [of 11 September 2001] have shown that terrorism can effect even the most successful country on the planet. Active steps to prevent terrorism are required, and these are inevitably linked to the necessity of gathering information inside terrorist groups at the stage when their criminal activities are being planned, or at least while the terrorist actions are under way.
