The Government Is Continuing Its Offensive Against Its Citizens' Incomes

Abstract

This article assesses the concepts on which the reform of the Russian pension system is based; it also sheds light on why the power structures were forced to carry out pension reform, analyzes the proposed solutions, and forecasts the consequences of their implementation. The conclusions of the article are meant for the legislatures of the units of the Russian Federation; for public organizations expressing the interests of various groups, especially veterans and retirees; for students, graduate students, and professors of law; and for deputies to the Federal Assembly and their constituents.
