Abstract

The articles in this issue of Russian Politics and Law examine some of the key questions facing Russian foreign policy as the country passes its twentieth birthday. The topics covered in this issue include the modernization of Russian foreign policy, the extent to which Russia has come to terms with the independence of other former Soviet republics, and the rise of China as a competing world and regional power.
