Abstract

Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, isocitrate dehydrogenase, DNA, RNA and total nitrogen were analysed in the rabbit placenta during its hypertrophic response to ovariectomy. Isocitrate dehydrogenase activity was increased in the experimental placentae. Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, DNA, RNA and total nitrogen were unchanged.
