Bilateral pyogenic sacroiliitis following uncomplicated pregnancy and labor

Abstract

Pyogenic sacroiliitis is an infection most commonly associated with intravenous drug abuse, gynecologic infections or pelvic traumas, but very rarely associated with uncomplicated pregnancy and labor (1, 2).

In the present case we describe a patient with bilateral pyogenic sacroiliitis following an uncomplicated delivery.
