Abstract
This follow-up study comprises all patients treated for Menière's disease in the Ear Clinic of the Copenhagen City Hospital during the period 1947 to 1952 inclusive. The object was to elucidate the prognosis, especially with regard to vertigo, and the significance of treatment in a large series. We also tried to ascertain the prognostic significance of a number of characteristics to which particular regard has been paid in the Department.
