Origin of Transverse Fractures in the Middle Third of the Face: A Clinical and Experimental Study

Abstract

In the Oto-laryngologic clinic, Umeå, 169 fractures of the facial bones were treated 1952-1959.—53 cases were of zygomaxillary type and of these 14 were transvers fractures.—A short description will be given of these last cases, and the results of experimental fractures of the actual type performed on section material will be presented.
