Die Rekonstruktion Des Larynxlumens Nach Partiellen Resektionen und Funktionelle Resultate

Abstract

After having performed in the past two years twenty partial resections of the larynx, the authors discuss some of the problems connected with the plastic reconstruction of the lumen of the larynx and the re-establishment of natural breathing and phonation. The testing of the vocal function in these cases was done by stroboscopic examination and acoustic analysis subsequent to surgical treatment. The authors conclude that in certain carefully chosen cases of partial resection and plastic reconstruction of the larynx highly successful results have been obtained.
