Abstract

Über die Notwendigkeit und Zweckmässigkeit des operativen Verschlusses von Durarissen bei frontobasalen Verletzungen bestehen heute unter den Fachleuten wohl kaum mehr Zweifel, denn nur durch einen wasserdichten Duraverschluss kann mit Sicherheit eine Abriegelung des Infektionsweges vom Nasen- und Nebenhöhlengebiet zum Endocranium erzielt werden.
