Traumatic Luxation of the Incus in Children

Abstract

Two cases of traumatic luxation of the incus occurring in schoolchildren are described. Both cases were treated operatively. In the first case plastic operations were performed on both ears with considerable improvement of hearing as the result. In the other the incus was freed and resited, with resultant normal hearing.
