Abstract

The method of treating laryngeal papillomata with cold cautery is described, and the results are reported in a far advanced case. Cold cautery treatment is recommended in all cases in which tracheotomy has been necessary and in all in which the application can be done under general intubation anaesthesia. The source of cold was liquid oxygen at a temperature of -180°C.
