Abstract

Pathogenesis of nasopharyngeal angiofibroma studied from the endocrine point of view with very accurate laboratory and post mortem studies of the endocrine glands proved that in these cases there is an insufficient function of the anterior lobe of the hypophysis which reacts on the function of the suprarenal cortex, resulting in a decreased endrogenic dysfunction of thyroid, cochlea and gonads as well as an increased oestrogen factor.
