Abstract

The results of our experiments with S35 on chick embryos are a contribution to Dohlman's hypothesis about the role of sulfomucopolysaccharides in the excitation of the sensorial cells of the internal ear.

This paper is dedicated to Prof. Marco, who aroused my interest on the problems of the internal ear.
