Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma of the Middle Ear Primary to So-Called Medullomyoblastoma of Brain

Abstract

Two cases in children of embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma of the middle ear is presented with clinical, radiologic and microscopic findings. They had the same characteristics as the 20 previously described cases and early diagnosis was difficult, causing late treatment. Despite intens irradiation, none of the patients survived 7 months and the prognosis is considered very poor.
