Studies on Proteins of Nasal Mucous Membrane Secretion in Fibrinolytic Aspect

Abstract

The secretion of the nasal mucous membrane was studied in healthy subjects and those suffering from allergic rhinitis; the so-called “third” fraction occurring in both groups was found to be a lysozyme contaminated by the proteolytic enzyme activator.
