Pages 329-331 | Published online: 08 Jul 2009

Abstract

The results of a thorough hearing examination in 228 young people indicate that the upper frequency limit is very sensitive to acoustic trauma, and that deviations from normal threshold are found more frequently above 5 000 Hz than at 3 000–4 000 Hz.
