Abstract

The technology of two different multichannel cochlear prosthetic devices is described. The clinical results after electrical stimulation in five implanted patients are discussed.

ZUSAMMENFASSUNG

Die Technologie zweier verschiedener, von uns entwickelter mehrkanaliger Cochlearimplantate wird beschrieben. Die Elektroden wurden bei insgesamt 5 Patienten auf dem Wege über das runde Fenster in die Scala tympani implantiert. Die klinischen Ergebnisse nach elektrischer Stimulation werden diskutiert.
