Abstract

Modifications of vestibular and optokinetic responses were induced by subsequent or simultaneous stimulation of the vestibular, optokinetic and pursuit system in normal subjects and in patients affected by peripheral and central vestibular lesions. the results of this visual-vestibular interaction trial indicate a fairly compact resistance of the OKS against vestibular influences, but only as long as the PS remains intact.
