Abstract

The response properties of otolith afferent neurons have been analysed in the monkey (1) and the cat (2). However, knowledge about the rat's responses to static tilt is scarce. To elucidate central information processing of the otolith system, responses to static tilt were analysed in the rat vestibular nuclei neurons.
