Anorexia Nervosa, Sexual Behaviour Modification as an Adjunct to an Integrated Treatment Programme

Synopsis

Patients with anorexia nervosa are difficult to treat. In the case to be reported a programme of sex education and desensitisation was added to the treatment regime. When the patient took responsibility for and gained control over her sexuality there was a dramatic improvement in her clinical state.
