Abstract
Site of lesion testing has proven of value in the early diagnosis of acoustic nerve tumors. In the course of development of routine evaluation for tinnitus, hearing loss, vertigo alone or in combination site of lesion test patterns indicative of cerebrovascular problems simulating space occupying lesions particularly acoustic nerve tumors have been found. Site of lesion testing as a supplement of routine neuro-otologic evaluation is proposed as an aid in early diagnosis and prognosis of cerebro-vascular disease.
