Isospora Belli Infection in Australia

Abstract

A case of Isospora belli infection is described in an Australian born man who had returned to Australia from a 6 mth visit to Asia. Medlars search showed that this is the first case reported in the Australian medical literature. However, several cases have been recognized earlier in Queensland Aborigines by one of the authors (T.B.)
