Abstract
A case of adenoid-cystic carcinoma of the prostate is presented. The differential diagnosis and a brief discussion of the possible histogenesis is presented.
Adenoid cystic carcinoma of the prostate is a rare but distinctive variant of prostate carcinoma.1,2 To date, only 4 cases have been reported in the English literature.3,5 We report an additional case and discuss the pathological features and differential diagnosis.
