Abstract
A 20-year-old Chinese male presented with one month history of headache, nausea and vomiting. He had a Jacksonian seizure 3 years ago. Examination on admission showed no neurological deficit and the fundi were normal. Computerised tomography of the brain showed a large cystic lesion with a contrast enhancing nodule in the right parietal region (Fig. 1). At operation, a large cystic tumor with a well defined mural nodule on the cortical surface was found. The tumor was totally resected. The patient received 4500 rads of external radiation post-operatively. He has been doing well and is symptom-free 3 years following craniotomy.
