Abstract

Kragelund, E. & Dyrbye, M. Direct Liquid Scintillation Counting of Biological Fluids. Scand. J. clin. Lab. Invest. 19, 129-131, 1966. A simple scintillator system for the direct counting of low 35S activites in biological fluids is described. The method has been thoroughly tested. As it is very simple it is particularly well-suited for counting serial specimens. The fluid to be counted must be constant in all other qualities than the amount of 35S. The same scintillator system was found to be efficient and accurate for tritiated water.
