Abstract

Indications were found that when measuring rheumatoid factor in the Rose hemagglutination test system, a co-factor (AC-factor) augments the agglutination. It is a low molecular substance, probably a small peptide. It was found to be present in sera from patients with rheumatoid arthritis and also in sera from the two healthy persons tested.
