Abstract

Krøll, J. On the Immunoelectrophoretical Identification and Quantitation of Serum Proteins. Scand. J. clin. Lab. Invest. 22, 79-81, 1968.

Description of a modification of the quantitative immunoelectrophoresis method, which makes possible a direct correlation of immunologically identical fractions in different biological fluids, by producing partial fusion of related immunoprecipitate patterns.

As an example the principle is applied on the interpretation of the immunoelectrophoretic patterns produced by a nephrosis serum developed in conjunction with a normal serum pool.
