Abstract
4–6 days after an intravenous injection of 125I labelled rabbit serum albumin to an operated rabbit the wound tissue and corresponding normal tissue were excised. The radioactive material isolated from these tissue samples was compared by turnover studies and polyacrylamide gelectrophoresis with freshly labelled 131I rabbit serum albumin. The properties of albumin proved to be unaffected by the influence of the inflammatory reaction in the wound.
