A System for Identification and Distribution of Samples and for Processing and Storage of Data in Clinical Chemistry

Abstract

The patient identification data are printed on requisition forms, which are attached to sample tubes by rubber straps. The forms are first separated from the sample at the time when the test result is printed or written on it. The front sheet is the report to the ward; the copy is filed according to test and date, at the laboratory, as the only way of registration.
