Abstract

The usefulness of the Thorp Micronephelometer in predicting glyceride concentrations and as a screening instrument was investigated. It is con cluded that nephelometry has a limited value for these purposes but could be used in combination with glyceride determinations in order to reveal inadequate fasting.
