Abstract

Percentile regional distributions of pulmonary blood flow, ventilation, vital capacity, and total lung capacity in supine position were studied in 55 healthy subjects with 133xenon radiospirometry, by using two pairs of moving detectors. Normal values and repeatability of this method were found to be comparable to those obtained with other methods. The influence of the subject's position with reference to the detectors was also evaluated.
