Abstract

Heaf, D. J. & Carlson, L. A. The Effect of Lysolecithin on the Release of Oleate from Triolein by Human Post-Heparin Lipase. Scand. J. clin. Lab. Invest. 36, 693–695, 1976.

The lipase activity of human post-heparin plasma was assayed with six different, freshly prepared triolein emulsions containing the same amount of triglyceride but different amounts of lysolecithin. Increasing the amount of lysolecithin caused a marked reduction in lipase activity.
