Cannulation of small lymph vessels using a tissue glue

Abstract

A tissue glue was used to facilitate cannulation of small lymph vessels. A ligature around a lymph vessel distends the vessel proximally, but when the vessel is incised the friable vessel wall collapses. This is prevented by a small drop of a tissue glue applied to the vessel. The technique permits rapid cannulation of small vessels.
