Abstract

The short-term effects of pentoxifylline (10-5-10-3 mol) on membrane physical state and transport systems of human erythrocytes were investigated. Membrane lipid order, Na-K pump activity, Ca uptake and Ca-sensitive K permeability were not affected by pentoxifylline.
