Abstract

Selective mesenteric arteriography demonstrated a Meckel's diverticulum as the cause of bleeding in a boy, aged 17, admitted with brisk rectal haemorrhage. The case illustrates the utility of selective mesenteric arteriography in cases of gastrointestinal bleeding, where the lesion is beyond the range of endoscopy.
