Chemical Faecal Fat Using Single Stools

Abstract

By using continuous marking, faecal fat excretion has been measured on single stool samples. There is good agreement between these values and results from 7-day collections, and there is excellent agreement obtained by using two random stools. It is suggested that this method can even be applied to selected outpatients.
