Abstract

Three hundred and twenty-five consecutive patients with clinical signs of appendicitis or appendiceal mass were examined by ultrasound with the graded compression technique. Diagnostic accuracy and sonographic features of both appendicitis and appendicitis-mimicking conditions are presented.
