Abstract
The correlation of Campylobacter pylori with gastritis is so overwhelming that almost everybody accepts this relationship. C. pylori is correlated with chronic active gastritis: if C. pylori is successfully eradicated, the gastritis disappears; if the organism returns, the gastritis comes back.
