Renal Angiomyolipoma: Report of a Case

Pages 69-71 | Received 12 Sep 1968, Published online: 09 Jul 2009

Abstract

A case of renal angiomyolipoma is reported. Haemaluria was the presenting symptom. Arteriograms showed neo-vascularization, thus suggesting a malignant tumour. The literature on angiomyolipoma is briefly reviewed. Recognition of this tumour is important in order to distinguish it from renal carcinoma.
