Abstract
Urinary incontinence and vaginal ectopia of the ureter have been studied in 6 females. When a small kidney with a small renal pelvis suggests that an upper pelvic segment is missing in the urogram of females with enuresis, vaginal ectopia of the ureter should be suspected and the diagnostic procedures arranged accordingly. Retrograde pyelography will settle the diagnosis if the vaginal ureteral orifice can be identified. Selective renal angiography is the procedure of choice and will give all the information necessary for surgical treatment.
