Abstract

A follow-up investigation of 93 patients who had been nephrectomized for adenocarcinoma renis shows that the patients can be regarded as “fully cured” after 8 years of follow-up, at which time the survival is the same as the survival for a normal population. The prognostic value of different clinical parameters is evaluated in comparing the ”fully cured patients with the rest of the material.
