Abstract

A clinical follow-up study of 33 men receiving radiotherapy for the treatment of a primary penis cancer is presented. Sixteen patients were treated by local radiotherapy alone, whilst the other 17 underwent a subsequent amputation. Fourteen patients of the 33 were symptom-free after 5 years. Local radiotherapy to the penis does not appear to have given rise to any serious complications.
