Abstract
A report is given on the use of cavernosography in patients with plastic induration of the penis (Peyronie's disease). Forty-two examinations were performed on 33 patients and were compared with cavernosography results in 100 patients without evidence of penile induration. Solely dorsal or lateral indurations are not so well delineated as the intraseptal extension of the disease. The importance of applying compression around the base of the penis during the examination is emphasized. Cavernosography helps in the preoperative assessment of the disease process.
