Abstract
In a series of 165 consecutive kidney transplant patients observed for at least 6 months after operation, massive perirenal lymph accumulation occurred in two. The case histories of these 2 patiens are briefly reviewed, and symptomatology, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, and probable aetiology of the lymphocele, are discussed with reference to the literature. Peroperative prophylactic ligation of the iliac lymph vessels is recommended.
