Abstract
Laparoscopy is the most reliable method for the diagnosis of nonpalpable testicles and enables immediate therapy (1,2). After renal transplantation into the iliac fossa, the changed anatomical conditions render diagnosis in the pelvic region more difficult. We have performed laparoscopic drainage of large lymphoceles in 10 patients after renal transplantation (3). We report a case in which a cyst was found next to the transplant one year after successful renal transplantation. This required laparoscopic intervention.
