Abstract

A 69-year-old male underwent a radical retropubic prostatectomy for prostate cancer. He presented severe perineal pain that prevented him from sitting normally after removal of the urethral catheter. Cystography and echography disclosed a possible aetiology that was later confirmed by cystoscopy: a metal clip protruding into the urethra through the urethrovesical anastomosis.
