The Metabolic Fate of Calixin in Rats

Abstract

1. When [3H]Calixin (Tridemorph) is administered orally to rats, labelled metabolites, probably hydroxylated derivatives and glucuronide conjugates, are found in the urine, bile and faeces.

2. Measurements have been made of excretion over three days following dosage. about 30% of administered radioactivity is retained in the tissues, and its distribution has been investigated.
