Abstract

Educational relationships may be didactic, supervisory, collaborative or consultative. They tend to evolve over time from didactic through consultative, and higher levels may incorporate elements of basic levels. Roles may vary within individual relationships, but type of content remains relatively constant. Understanding of educational relationships may help clinical teachers improve their teaching.
