Pages 569-571 | Published online: 10 Jul 2012

Abstract

We, the Editor and Publisher of Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology have retracted the following article:

A. Ragab, R. Barakat, M. Ragheb, O. State & A. Badawy (2012) Subfertility treatment in women with systemic lupus erythematosus, Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 32 (6), 569–571, DOI: 10.3109/01443615.2012.693986

Since publication, significant concerns have been raised about the study design and reported results in the article. When approached for an explanation, the authors have not responded to questions about the concerns raised, and they have not provided their original data or evidence that the study received the necessary ethics approval to verify that the research and publication comply with the journal–s Editorial Policies. As verifying the validity of published work is core to the integrity of the scholarly record, we are therefore retracting the article. The authors have been informed.

We have been informed in our decision-making by our editorial policies and COPE guidelines.

The retracted article will remain online to maintain the scholarly record, but it will be digitally watermarked on each page as ‘Retracted’.
